4/16/08 On June 24, 2004, we first wrote about CMKM Diamonds, warning investors to beware of misleading press releases and bogus information. Since then, StockPatrol.com has published over 30 articles renewing those warnings. Now the SEC has filed a lawsuit charging a massive fraud by the people behind CMKM. Should anyone be surprised?
5/3/07 CMKM Diamonds, Inc. finally awakens - and sues its founder, Urban Casavant. The Company's new management says that Casavant and his cronies diverted millions of dollars from the Company.
4/25/07 A recent reverse stock split reduced the number of outstanding shares of GREM USA (OTCBB: GRUS). Now the Company is preparing to reintroduce stock to the marketplace by handing out up to 560 million shares to officers, directors, consultants and employees.
3/30/07 The success of You Tube has spawned a wave of copycats - each hoping for a piece of the video-sharing pie. Now, along comes China YouTV Corp.(OTCBB: CYTV) which claims to have an inside track on the video-sharing business in China. The touts have been sending out spam emails promoting the Company with a vengence - and, for a time, the stock responded. Lately though, the stock price has dipped. Will investors see their money go down the You Tube?
3/16/07 The buzz for CO2 Tech (Pink Sheets: CTTD) shares has begun to fade, and share prices have declined steadily - but the Company has continued to announce ambitious plans and drop a name or two. Richard Branson and Al Gore are catchy names for a press release - but are these likely business partners for CO2 Tech?
3/8/07 Things remains grim at Grem USA (OTCBB: GRUS). The Company still has not delivered on its promise to manufacture and market a proprietary line of guitars and the deficit is now more than $34.6 million. Stockholders have had nothing to celebrate here, and now they will have less - less stock that is. Grem just implemented a 1 for 4 reverse stock split - the fifth reverse split in recent years.
2/27/07 Parafin Corporation (OTCBB: PFNC) has a 28 year record of futility and failure. Still, the Company's consultants, directors and employees are not likely to have a problem selling 135 million shares of newly registered S-8 stock.
